OUR PARTNERS
Tidy Planet are the Waste to Energy Experts. We’ve been leading the way in innovative waste solutions for 20 years. We have joined with industrial leaders in their respective fields to bring together the very best and most reliable technologies to produce the Tidy Planet SWIP end to end solution.
SUGIMAT – Combustion and Boiler
Sugimat have been manufacturing industrial boilers for solid wastes for 40 years.
As specialists in heat output as thermal oil and manufacturers of bespoke systems to work with variable fuels this makes them ideally suited for the Tidy Planet SWIP system.
With innovation at the forefront, we can offer either the revolutionary new Horizon + heat exchanger or conventional Coil and Battery configuration boilers with auto ash cleaning. These offer a massive reduction in cleaning downtime and enhanced energy output efficiency by eliminating problems due to ash build up even with fuels up to 30% ash content.
In addition we can offer the world leading Artificial Vision System a 24/7 automated computer controlled process that continually monitors the flame front in the combustion process. By constantly adapting the grate speed, the material flow and the air flows to the combustion chamber it continually optimises the combustion process. This is a huge advantage when working with variable fuels where moisture, particle size and energy value fluctuate on an hourly basis.
TURBODEN – Electricity Production
Turboden have since 1980 been a global leader in the design, manufacture, and maintenance of Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) systems. As a group company of MHI (Mitsubishi Heavy Industries) one of the world’s leading heavy machinery manufacturers they have innovation and performance at their core.
The Turboden ORC system works most efficiently when using high temperature thermal oil as its heat source and at the SWIP scale offers many advantages over conventional steam turbines including up to 25% electricity production efficiency.
The use of organic fluid rather than steam has a number of advantages. Lower rotational speeds and mechanical stresses leading to decreased turbine and component wear and maintenance downtime, plus the avoidance of corrosion commonly found in steam systems.
The result is a system ideally suited to high efficiency small scale electricity production with guaranteed uptime of 98% and simple, reliable operation.
GLOSFUME – Gas Filtration and Emissions Abatament
Since 1990 Glosfume have been leading the way in Hot Gas Ceramic Filtration and Dry Scrubbing to ensure full compliance with emissions legislation.
It is critical that both particulate, acid gas and other pollutants are dealt with effectively and continuously to remain compliant and safe. Fortunately our partnership with Glosfume for the SWIP system ensures we not only meet emissions requirements but exceed them every time.
Q TOPLOADER – Fuel Storage and Feed System
Tidy Planet offer in partnership with Q Toploader a fully automated storage and feeding system capable of storing and feeding a wide range of solid wastes without the need for a front loader.
With a proven track record of automated handling of RDF, SRF and Wood Wastes amongst others we dramatically reduce handling, labour and running costs when coupled with the Tidy Planet SWIP system.
*Other feed and storage systems which meet the needs of the client are available if requested.

THE OFFER
We believe that there is a clear need in the marketplace for an ‘off the shelf’ system for processors of wastes and those wishing to set up small scale decentralised power generation plants.
By doing so we offer a means to meet EU waste hierarchy guidelines, we turn a waste headache into an opportunity for UK businesses and give the option to fix costs and generate income from increasingly problematic waste streams.
We offer a full start to finish ‘waste in’ ‘energy out’ turnkey solution with full EPC wrap that allows the client to concentrate on their business whilst Tidy Planet and partners manage, install and commission the SWIP plant on our clients behalf.
With performance and uptime guarantees in place, quick turnaround and full post installation support and maintenance packages available customers can be confident in investiing in the Tidy Planet SWIP solution.
The system includes:
- Fuel reception and storage from 1 day to 3 days operation with auto feed
- Combustion and efficient heat recovery through IED compliant boilers
- Emissions filtration and treatment to meet stringent legislation targets
- Energy production and distribution in the form of heat, steam, hot water, elctricity in any combination and at the best efficiencies
- Delivery, installation, integration and commissioning of the plant
We can of course provide variants of our ‘standardised’ system to suit your individual needs and are happy to provide larger systems for those with higher waste volumes.
