Paul Bellingham, Head Chef, Warren House
"For us, the need to find an alternative solution to food waste disposal was influenced by cost, but this wasn't our sole motivation. We were instead led by a desire to play our part in protecting the environment. The whole team has worked with Tidy Planet to implement changes that have substantially reduced our carbon footprint, as well as benefiting our bottom line."
"Warren House are proud to be associated with Tidy Planet and we hope we can continue to be part of any further new and exciting improvements in recycling and bring about the awareness of these benefits within the hospitality industry as a whole."

Con Maguire, The University of Cumbria “For some time we'd been looking at ways for diverting our food waste from landfill, knowing the harm that it was doing required us to look for a different method. The Rocket system was delivered at the start of this year and we're very, very pleased with the results. The assistance we've had from Tidy Planet right the way through from inquiry, planning, dealing with government regulations, installation and follow up has been first rate. The other benefit also worth adding is that as a horticulturalist the incentive of quality end product - compost ensures that not only are we making savings on our budgets by no longer buying bulky soil ameliorants, and our plants are positively thriving!”

Tanya Leisinger, RHS Rosemoor “We wanted to close the environmental loop within our business and the best way to do this was to have an onsite Rocket composter to recycle our kitchen waste. From our initial discussion with Huw Crampton, Tidy Planet have helped us every step of the way from the installation to training to producing fabulous compost for our own garden!.”

Andy Arnold, East Sussex County Council “With funding from the European Union's INTERREG programme, we have recently bought an A900 Rocket compost unit from Tidy Planet Ltd, following competitive tender to run a pilot project for disposing of our food waste from County Hall in a more environmentally acceptable manner. We have had excellent support from Tidy Planet, from early discussions on equipment options, through to excellent assistance in dealing with regulatory requirements, to current on-going support through the start up phase of using the rocket.”

David McAuley, Brunel University Although I had some concerns regarding in-vessel food composting these were quickly quashed when I approached Tidy Planet, their years of experience and commitment was clear immediately as was their close relationship with the Environment Agency on this subject, as they answered all my worries. Installation was on-time and didn’t interfere with our daily operations, training was excellent as is their after sales service – I have been contacted several times by Tidy Planet just as a matter of courtesy – this has been a great help whilst we adjust our procedures to get the best compost from our A900.
